SciFi and Fantasy Art: Songgryphons on Magnolia Twigs

Finally! A new and long-promised songgryphon painting!

I painted this for my parents in law. They needed something beautiful for their new dining room. Those large, pink flowers of the magnolia were just the right thing for this pinkish-purple wall - and those twings were just the right place for some more songgryphons! Oh, and I loved painting dewdrops again.

These are Red-Tailed Songgryphons (Gryphulus canorus phoenicurus), modelled of the Common Redstart or Gartenrotschwanz.

Gorgeous. And those Gryphons are so small and cute. ^^ I like the way it's divided into three sections like the Eastern paintings.
